Rick Corvese
Rick Corvese, co-founder of iAppDev, has been in the graphics and design industry for over 20 years.
First getting his start in signage at the age of 16, he quickly learned how to produce high quality graphics using one of the first versions of the architectural design program Autocad. In just 5 years, he became a leader in the field and was instrumental in developing new techniques and innovations now commonplace in the vinyl graphics world.
After another 5 years of growth and working in the top graphic studios, Rick went on to learn 3D design and animation. He is also a co-founder of Iceberg Media which was the first ever internet radio station that also pioneered streaming live video over the internet. Rick was Senior Art Director at Iceberg and was instrumental in helping to develop the look-and-feel of the station.
It was during this time that Rick started learning Flash Web Development. Even though broadband was just coming to light, Rick was ahead of the curve and was creating interactive e-learning tools and animated web content a decade before the internet technology was really able to handle this new form of media.
Rick lives in Toronto and now designs and develops iPhone and iPad applications, games, and tools, alongside his partner, Colin Coderre, who has extensive programming experience with top companies.
